Making sure your provision is ‘well run’ is essential to meeting local needs and securing longer-term funding. But what exactly does ‘well run’ mean?

‘Well run’ can be defined as attractive, welcoming, engaging and accessible to children from all local community groups, including those who are disabled or have other specific needs and interests. It also means your provision is likely to offer a variety of different types of play experience.

This means:

  2. Quality in un-staffed provision
  3. Maintaining provision
