This section contains information about range of partners and supporters that might be able to help you develop your project, such as: local councillors and play champions; other agencies who work closely with your local authority; and not-for-profit or charitable organisations.

Find your local councillor Directgov gives information about the role of local councillors and help to find your local councillor.
Find your local authority Directgov provides information about local government structure and an easy way to find your local authority using your postcode or street name.
Find your MP The UK Parliament website can help you find your local MP.

Community Matters Community Matters is the National Federation for Community Organisations with 1180 member organisations across the UK, offering support and advice to community associations and similar organisations.
NAVCA members and local contacts The NAVCA directory of members and local contacts provides details of local and regional infrastructure organisations in the voluntary and community sector. Contact your local CVS for advice about starting a new group.
National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) A network of national organisations and regional and local networks that work with and for young people, The NCVYS offers support and advice to local groups.
Play associations A list of local play associations is available from the Children’s Play Information Service on request.
