The local authority's responsibilities for play

Local authorities, and relevant partners from other strategic services may convene a Children’s Trust board, which aims to cooperate in improving well-being for local children.

The Children's Trust board may or may not prepare a Children and Young People’s Plan (CYPP). This can provide a single overarching plan for all services for children and young people in the area, including youth and play services. It is worth finding out if this plan exists and what it says about play.
